Ross’ verse is simply sick the way he enters and the beat drops. Drake speaks on his obstacles and the reality that he lives. This song can’t be played unless you have a subwoofer worthy of containing the beat. We’ll Be Fine mimics that pure Memphis underground music with the choppy sample and the 808 beating. I liked how he rapped his Lil Wayne reference in the song and it was on point too. This song is basically about how Drake got to the point where he’s at right now but definitely a song to cruise to. It’s songs like this that you listen to you and start to realize that Drake actually has lots of talent and he has tailored it for the women. The format is the same as most of the songs off Thank Me Later. Shot for Me is a song that embodies that Drake R&B type of sound. This song contains that classic Drake & 40 sound.
